Saint Timothy Catholic Church

2021 Parish Financial Report

My Dear Friends,

We are pleased to provide you with our financial report for the year, ending June 30, 2021.  You may find the full financial report here. Please read through the report, as it shows a brief snapshot in statistics of what your generosity allows this parish to do. If you should have any questions regarding this report, please contact our parish Business Manager, Francisco de Brey, by emailing fdebrey@sttimothyparish.org.

This year our church and school continued to face the financial challenges brought about by the COVID pandemic. Our offertory was down compared to past years, but thankfully, we were able to strategically reduce specific expenses, which enabled us to remain financially strong. In addition, thanks to our vibrant school community, our school enrollment has remained robust – our school is filled to capacity, with healthy wait lists.

I am also incredibly appreciative of Bishop Burbidge for issuing an extraordinary dividend payment to our parish, based off of the funds we’ve held in our savings accounts. The parish received over $300,000 from this dividend.  We were also fortunate enough to receive a loan from the SBA Payroll Protection Program in May 2020, and were grateful when the loan was fully forgiven in March of this year.

We are very encouraged by and profoundly grateful to the number of parishioners who have responded so generously during these difficult times.  As a parish we rely on one another’s generosity to make the good works and ministries of St. Timothy achievable.  It is our hope and prayer that each of you might re-examine your level of financial commitment, and if at all possible, consider increasing your donations.  With deepest gratitude, we thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our beautiful parish.

Let us pray for one another, our nation, and our world.

In Christ,

Rev. David P. Meng
