A worldwide network of 800,000 lay Catholics, we are inspired by Gospel values to grow in holiness and build a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.
We are men and women of every age, every race, every income level, who share our blessings of time, talent, and treasure with those who need help and hope.
From our thrift stores and food pantries, to disaster recovery and prison reentry, to advocacy and systemic change, we serve our communities however they need it most. No work of charity is foreign to the Society.
Like the Good Samaritan, we’re ready to help anyone regardless of religion, age, or background.
Here at St. Timothy’s Parish, we operate a Food Pantry and provide emergency financial assistance through a dedicated Helpline.

St. Timothy Conference has been serving the community since 2003. What started as a small Food Pantry and 7 members, has grown to a 100+ member organization providing food, emergency financial assistance, baby items, personal hygiene items, clothing, and more!
Your prayers and financial support to St. Timothy Conference provide critical assistance to those going through a difficult time.
You can uplift those we serve by helping to provide rent and utility assistance, monthly food distribution, as well as other emergency assistance.
Please prayerfully consider making time to serve those in need, right here in our area:
- Intake – Screening incoming calls to Helpline in English or Spanish
- Casework – Helping those in need with their assistance requests
- Food Pantry – Distributing food, stocking, packing, purchasing
- Special projects – Engaging in various projects, i.e., Coats for Kids, Friends of the Poor Walk, Blue Envelope, Newsletter, Vincentian Stations of the Cross, etc.
You are warmly invited to join us at our monthly meetings on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the New Parish Hall!

![]() | “Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day.” Bl. Frederic Ozanam | ![]() |
“In the midst of the political, social, religious, and economic turmoil of early 19th century France, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul originated. As a young student at the Sorbonne, Antoine Frédéric Ozanam was appalled by the conditions he saw in Paris. At a student meeting, another student challenged Ozanam and other practicing Catholics, admitting that while the Catholic Church had done much good work in the past, he could not see what good the Church was doing currently.
On April 23, 1833, his 20th birthday, Ozanam invited five other students to a meeting, where they founded the first Conference of Charity to assist the poor. This Catholic lay organization was intended to help members increase in holiness by loving service to those in need.
The six students chose Emmanuel Bailly, a married layman, as their first president. Shortly thereafter, they changed their name to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in honor of their patron saint.”
