2023 Parish Financial Report

My Dear Friends,

I am pleased to provide our financial report for the year ending June 30, 2023.  Please take a few minutes to review the interesting parish statistics, and the Church and School Statement of Income & Expense.  Thank you so much for your generosity!

Please remember that the many gifts that the Almighty God has bestowed on us are to be used in the service of others. I ask that we all prayerfully evaluate how we share our gifts of time, talent, and treasure within our parish.

Time. I ask that each of us intensify and deepen our time in prayer: asking Our Lord “what do you desire of me?”. If you are not already doing it, spend time praying as a family. Read and reflect upon the Holy Scriptures – come to know Him in His Word. If you can, spend time before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We have Adoration in our beautiful Adoration Chapel available Monday through Friday from 6:45am until 9:00pm.

Talent. I ask that you consider volunteering some of your talent in service through our Parish Ministries. Some of you that have very beautiful singing voices, please consider joining the choir. For those that have beautiful speaking voices, consider becoming a Lector. We also have need for ushers and serving our poor through St. Vincent de Paul. Join one of the prayer groups, maybe even start your own. Please talk to the Lord and find out what He is asking of you so as to spread the Good News. Please see our website or bulletin to get more information on our ministries.

Treasure. I know that you are aware of the rising costs of maintaining a household. Our parish is no different. The expense of running our various ministries and maintaining the physical plant are going up. So I am asking for your help.  We rely on your weekly offertory contributions to support these programs and facilities, and we need to increase our offertory. Please discern your financial commitment to our parish, and determine if you are in a position to increase your offertory.  You may do so by updating your Faith Direct account (or creating a new Faith Direct account) or by using your offertory envelopes.

I thank you for your on-going support and commitment to this beautiful parish! My prayer is that each of us will reflect on these three gifts of ourselves and discern what God is asking of us. And by His grace, may we all become better stewards of our time, talent, and treasure. With every best wish, I remain,

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Rev. David P. Meng
