Boy Scouts:
Since 1910, the boy Scouts of America has been dedicated to preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes through programs that emphasize character, citizenship, and fitness. For more information concerning the Boy Scout units sponsored by St. Timothy Parish please call the Boy Scout phone number listed in the bulletin.
St. Timothy Parish sponsors three Scout units:
| Cub Scout Pack 146. Cub Scouting is for boys in 1st through 5th grades and emphasizes family and practical skills through fun activities.
Boy Scout Troop 146. Boy Scouting is for boys ages 11 through 17, and teaches team work, leadership, and service through a program of outdoor and camping skills. Venturing Crew 146. Venturing is for young women and young men ages 14 (and graduated 8th grade) through age 20. Venturing emphasizes leadership and personal growth through challenging pro grams and activities, particularly outdoor high adventure. |
CYO:
CYO is St. Timothy’s high school and junior-aged youth group. CYO usually meets on the second, third, fourth, and fifth (if there is one) Sunday of each month after the 5:30 P.M. Mass in the MultiPurpose Room and/or school gym. CYO provides a great opportunity to meet new friends, join in some great games and activities, as well as learn some things that will strengthen and deepen your faith.
Filipino Ministry:
This is a gathering of the Filipino community to share and celebrate our faith traditions with the larger church body. Works include hosting one of the 9 evening masses for Simbang Gabi ( 9 novena mass spiritual preparation for the coming of Christ.)
