Mary’s Corner

Mary’s Corner, an initiative of St. Timothy’s Catholic School which was begun in September 2012, began with 3 programs: Pilgrim Virgin Statue Visit Program, Family Rosary, and Prayer Requests. Just 2 years later the program has expanded to include a website devoted to Mary’s Corner. The site is intended to be a resource for our families, sharing practical and simple ideas for living our Catholic faith. It is centered around core Catholic Feast days and is updated monthly with crafts, reflections, podcasts, music and books. There are podcasts from Catholic favorites such as Mother Angelica as well as reflections written by our very own St. Timothy’s priests. In addition, pictures and recordings of student centered activities that occur during the school day such as the Living Rosary and All Saints Day Dress Up are added to the site as they occur. Having these experiences on the site gives parents and students the opportunity to review these special school events at home. An exciting new project in the works is a school wide rosary recording that will be available on CD and will include St. Timothy’s students, PK-8th grade, praying the joyful mysteries of the rosary in English and Spanish as well as 10 Hail Mary’s prayed in a variety of languages such as Italian, French, Swahili, Burmese, Vietnamese, and Latin. Mary’s Corner is very excited for the release of this CD and can’t wait for you to receive your copy so you can pray the rosary along with the precious voices of our St. Timothy’s Catholic School children.

You can visit Mary’s Corner anytime at the St. Timothy’s school website: schoosainttimothyschool.org under the Catholic Identity tab.
